Provanto Ultimate Fruit and Vegetable Bug Killer Concentrate kills most common and difficult insect pests on selected fruit and vegetables including tomato, lettuce, cabbage, peas, broad beans, apple and raspberry. When to use
Controls Greenfly, Blackfly, Caterpillars (including Codling and Tortrix Moths), Beetles (Raspberry, Pollen and Flea Beetles), Weevils, Sawfly, Cutworms, Apply and Pear Suckers, Leafhoppers, Capsids, Thrips, Whitefly, Scale Insects, and Mealybugs on a wide range of edible and ornamental plants.
For ornamentals, vegetables and glasshouse crops
Spray at the first sign of infestation. If necessary repeat the treatment 10-14 days later. For the prolonged control of Whitefly, Mealybugs and Thrips, repeat applications may be required. Do not exceed the maximum number of applications shown below.
Peas and Beans
For the control of Pea and Bean Weevil, apply at first signs of adult damage (leaf notching). Repeat after 2-3 weeks if prolonged and heavy attack.
Apples
For the control of Caterpillars, Apple Sucker, Apple Grass Aphid, apply in spring when the buds are opening (at green cluster). For the control of Coding and Tortrix Moth, Sawfly, late Capsid, apply at about mid-June. A further application may be necessary in late July or early August if Tortrix Moths are a problem.
Pears
For the control of Pear Sucker (overwintered adults, eggs and nymphs), apply before flowering blossom and at any time from petal fall onwards. Do not apply during blossom period.
Plums
For the control of Red Plum Maggot, Plum Fruit Moth, apply in Mid-June; a further application may be made after 3 weeks.
Raspberries
For the control of Raspberry Beetle, apply when about 80% of the blossom is over (usually mid June). A further application may be made when the first fruit is colouring (usually about 2 weeks later).
Avoid spraying delicate open blooms. The best time to spray is early morning or late evening. Do not spray in bright sunlight or when plants are dry at the roots.
How to use
Shake the bottle before use. Using the measuring cup provided, add the appropriate quantity of product into clean water in the sprayer. Mix gently.
For all outdoor uses (except raspberry beetle): 0.5ml in 1 litre.
For raspberry, loganberry, blackberry and rubus hydrids: 0.8ml in 1 litre
For all indoor, greenhouse and conservatory uses: 1.0ml in 1 litre
Spray the plant carefully giving good cover of the whole plant. Make sure both the upper side and the underneath of leaf surfaces has been sprayed.
Once the bottle is empty, rinse container thoroughly three times before disposal. Add washings to sprayer at time of filling and dispose of empty container safely.

Product Volumes
All products are allocated an approximate volumetric size for delivery, multiple small items will fit into a 25kg volume sized parcel whereas most compost and fertiliser bags are around 25kg volumetric size. Delivery pricing is based on volumetric size or weight, whichever is higher to meet courier specifications.
